I'm Winston Fowlkes — a Jacksonville-based independent consultant who builds the software a company runs on.
The work narrowed on purpose. I used to build a lot of different things for a lot of different businesses; now I build one thing — the system a company runs on — for a small number of them. Seegars Fence, Cougar Companies, and Metalcrafters each run on a platform I wrote, and I am still shipping to all three.
